DW 6x05 - The Rebel Flesh

Okay, this hit so many of my narrative kinks for identity and self-construction that I can't even tell if it was any good or not, but -

SERIOUSLY, DOES NO ONE REMEMBER THAT RORY'S AN AUTON NOW (I think? Did this get fixed in the Big Tardis Explosion of the Finale)? Even if this isn't the Auton Origin Story (and all signs point thataway), the fact that there are living plastic people running around would seem to be similar enough for a side comment. I thought that they were building towards a Rory, Auton Sympathizer moment with his connection with Ganger Jennifer (Ginnifer? Accents, sometimes they confuse me), but then at the end of the episode he ran out looking for Jennifer Prime, which somewhat weakens that possibility. This does set them up for Rory having long meaningful conversations with them in part two, but I think part two is going to be largely devoted to the fun of watching Eleven and Ganger Doctor bounce off each other, so IDK. I JUST WANT A RORY EPISODE. PLEASE MOFFAT, I HAVE BEEN SUCH A GOOD GIRL THIS YEAR.
